Background
PVM Oil Associates are the world's leading independent broker of oil instruments. Their web site was not reflecting the company's business status or functioning efficiently for their clients to access the PVM Daily Reports. Whilst PVM had an in-house technical team, as much of the content was created within Flash, PVM were unable to edit the content regularly.
The Challenges
Rubicon's Professional Services Team had to assess the existing code, create a new site from the existing content and deploy this to live within a short time frame. The PHP code base also needed to be upgraded to comply with the latest security practices.
The Solution
Rubicon provided the expertise in-house to re-build the web site to the new requirements of PVM. The Rubicon consultants successfully completed the migration to the latest version of PHP within the timeframe with no outstanding faults.
Rubicon's team also completed a full handover to PVM's technical staff so that maintenance could be continued in-house.
